MODELLING AND CONTROL OF A DOUBLE-EFFECT ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINE. 2. EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH.

Author(s) : NAGAOKA Y.

Summary

THE STUDY RESULTS OF A DOUBLE-EFFECT WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE REFRIGERATING MACHINE WERE CHECKED BYTESTS FOCUSSED ON CONTROL PROCEDURES. THE TESTS SHOW THAT, IN NORMAL OPERATION, THE OPTIMUM CONTROL OF THE FLOW RATE OF THE WEAK SOLUTION CAN BE PROVIDED BY CONTROLLING, BY AN INVERTER, THE SPEED OF THE FLUID PUMP, MAINTAINING THE THERMAL EFFICIENCY OF THE HIGH TEMPERATURE EXCHANGER AT ABOUT 0.95. THE TESTS CONFIRM THAT MULTIVARIABLE OPEN LOOP CONTROL HAS THE BEST STABILITY COMPARED TO CHILLED WATER OUTLET TEMPERATURE PROPORTIONAL CONTROL.
