Modelling and simulation of natural gas air conditioning systems.
Author(s) : MOINARD S., GIVOIS E.
Summary
The modelling of an entire HAVC system is presented. The modelled installation consists of a real block of 25 offices, an air handling unit, a direct gas double effect absorption chiller or heater and its fluid cooler supplying water to coils (one for each office). The modelling approach is described and the results are compared with measurements monitored during summer 1994. The models created are available for use by engineers for sizing, optimizing or doing economic evaluation of HVAC systems.
