Summary
In many cases, for the estimation of characteristic parameters and fluid flow value in closed spaces, a simplified approach may be used, providing satisfactory accuracy level and simplifying the estimation procedure. Such a simplified method provides only basic characteristic values and indicators, which are frequently sufficient for describing and defining fluid flows in simpler cases. Based on the simplified method described in the literature, modelling of air distribution and flow in closed spaces has been considered for several typical cases. The simplified method is not in collision with a more sophisticated use of the CFD technique. On the contrary, the use of such a simplified method reduces the number of variants, which can be further analyzed using CFD techniques.
