Summary

A SIMPLE NUMERICAL MODEL WAS DEVELOPED TO SIMULATE THE BEHAVIOUR OF ADSORPTION AND DESORPTION PERIODS. A TEST RIG WAS BUILT TO DEMONSTRATE THE PRACTICAL APPLICABILITY OF THE SYSTEM THE MODEL WAS TESTED BY COMPARING THE SIMULATED AND MEASURED VALUES. THE EXPERIMENTS WERE CARRIED OUT USING SYNTHETIC ZEOLITES 5A AND 13X. THE STUDY SHOWS THE INFLUENCE OF THE DESIGN ON THE ZEOLITE BED.
