Modelling water vapour conditions in buildings.
Author(s) : JONES R.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper proposes a "moisture admittance" model which accounts for the moisture absorption and desorption processes for predicting humidity levels in buildings. The experimental method whereby the required coefficients were derived is described and some examples of the results are given. The approaches to real buildings, as opposed to test rooms, and possible modifications to the BREDEM model are discussed.
