THE MAIN DANGERS FOR A RELIABLE OPERATION OF HELIUM PLANTS ARE: AIR OR HUMIDITY PENETRATION AND HYDROCARBONS (OIL AEROSOLS) USED IN LUBRICATED COMPRESSORS. CONTROLS MAY OCCUR AHEAD OF THE INLET OF THE COLD-BOX, IN THE HELIUM PURIFIER, AHEAD OF THE HELIUM LIQUEFIER, IN THE ENTIRE HELIUM SYSTEM. OPTICAL EMISSION SPECTROMETRY WAS FOUND TO PROVIDE THE BEST ADVANTAGES AS MEASURING PROCESS FOR SULZER DETECTORS. EXCITATION LEVELS FOR HELIUM AND ASSOCIATED TRANSFORMATIONS. SELECTIVE EMISSION BANDS CONNECTED WITH THE PRESENCE OF WATER, NITROGEN AND CH BOUNDS. DESCRIPTION OF THE BASIC SULZER MULTI-COMPONENT DETECTOR. DIFFERENT TYPES FAAAEER PYROLYZER. ANOUNCED DEVELOPMENT OF A MEASURING INSTRUMENT SUITABLE FOR NEON AND OXYGEN DETECTION.
