DISCUSSES A METHOD FOR MONITORING THE THERMAL ENVIRONMENT IN OFFICES AND, WHERE THE OFFICE IS AIR CONDITIONED, RELATES THE RESULTS TO THE DESIGN AND OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM. THE MONITORING INCLUDES THE MEASUREMENT OF THEVARIATION OF THE VELOCITY AND AIR TEMPERATURE AT GRIDDED POINTS THROUGHOUT AN OCCUPIED ZONE, AS WELL AS THE TIME VARIATIONS OF THE MAJOR PARAMETERS THAT AFFECT ENVIRONMENTAL COMFORT.
