THE ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT STATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MULTIPLE SOURCE HEAT PUMP SYSTEM FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS. THIS SYSTEM USES THE HEAT STORED IN THE AMBIENT AIR AND THAT OF A CONSTANT TEMPERATURE SOURCE. THE REASONING FOR MULTIPLE SOURCE DEVELOPMENT IS ALSO PRESENTED.
