Type of article: Article
Summary
This work presents the thermo-hydrodynamic behaviour of a nanofluid consisting of water and Al2O3 particles in a double pipe heat exchanger, in laminar flow conditions. It has been found that the use of nanofluid causes an increase of approximately 11% in heat transfer rate, compared to the base fluid use.
