Natural cooling strategies efficiency in an office building with a double-skin facade.
Author(s) : GRATIA E., HERDE A. de
Type of article: Article
Summary
This article examines the efficiency of various strategies that can be applied to an office building with and without a double-skin facade during a sunny summer day. The authors mainly studied the natural night ventilation possibility in relation to the double skin orientation and the speed and orientation of wind. A multistorey double-skin facade was studied. Simulations were realised with TAS software on the building proposed in the International Agency, Solar Heating and Cooling Program.
