Summary

THE STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTION DATA RECORDED IN PIG BREEDING SHOWS THAT THE MECHANICAL VENTILATION SYSTEM USED AT PRESENT DOES NOT GIVE BETTER RESULTS THAN NATURAL AIR CIRCULATION. IT APPEARS THAT EXISTING UNITS DO NOT PROVIDE THE REQUIRED AIR CONDITIONING. A NEW ANALOG AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS DEVELOPED WHICH, THANKS TO THE FREE COOLING AND HEATING SYSTEM, PROVIDES NEW AIR CONDITIONING POTENTIALITIES. IT IS BASED ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL UNITS. IN ORDER TO GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE EFFECT OF CONTROL PARAMETERS ON INTERNAL CLIMATE AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION, A MATHEMATICAL MODEL WAS ELABORATED.
