THIS PLANT IS THE WORLD'S LARGEST AND NEWEST, WITH COOLING CAPACITY OF 59,000 TONS OF REFRIGERATION (207,260 KILOWATTS), ENOUGH FOR 544 ACRES OF FLOOR SPACE. THE CAPACITY OF THE CONDENSING, STEAM-TURBINE-DRIVEN CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER IS 10,000 TONS OF REFRIGERATION (35,000 KILOWATTS). WITH THE NEW PLANT, ENERGY AND SPACE ARE SAVED. NEW TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN APPLIED FOR CONNECTING NEW PIPING TO EXISTING PIPING WHILE SUPPLYING COOLING WATER AND STEAM FOR CUSTOMERS.
