Summary
Since the beginning of 1992, five large reefer ships have been delivered from the Gdansk Shipyard in Poland, three of which belong to a six-vessel series ordered by the Norwegian owner Reksten Management SA. The universal character of the design is underlined by an ability to carry various cargoes ranging from chilled fruit to frozen meat, fish or butter. The versatility is completed by the possibility of carrying cars as well as 178TEU containers. Principal particulars and general arrangement drawings of the reefer series are given.
