New refrigerants: calculation of the vapour half angle and analysis of its evolution during stratified flow.
Calculul si analiza evolutiei semiungiului de vapori in curgerea stratificata a gestilor frigorifici nepoluanti.

Summary
The main stratified flow characteristics are the half angle occupied by the vapour phase and the height of the liquid and the concentration and mass flow of the fluid. The parameters exert a marked influence on the evolution (during condensation) of the heat exchange coefficient and on the pressure gradient. In this article, the vapour half angle was calculated using the vacuum fraction for the refrigerants R134a and R123, using a geometric relation. The influence of the entry parameters (flow concentration, flow rate and channel diameter) on results obtained with the model, are also provided.
