Summary

Report of this international seminar, held at Padova, Italie, on September 20, 1994, just before the IIR Commission Meeting, the proceedings of which have been published already. Extract of contents: refrigeration and air conditioning systems working with natural fluids; thermodynamic properties of pure and mixed refrigerant: experimental techniques; two-phase heat exchange for new refrigerants and their mixtures; transport properties of pure substances and of mixtures; prediction of mixture properties using modern thermodynamic models; new technologies for refrigerating compressors; recent developments in the design of new refrigerant mixtures for existing and future systems. All the papers will be abstracted in a future issue of the Bulletin.
