Summary
After a gap of about 20 years the technology has been revived for the reefer Albermarle Island to be built using ammonia in the refrigeration plant. The vessel built by the Danish shipbuilder Danyard was handed over to its owner the Noboa Group of Ecuador in July 1993. General arrangement drawings and principal particulars are given.
