Summary
The paper deals with the problem of noise reduction in air conditioning and ventilating systems, where the main sources of noise are ventilators and their propulsion devices. In the first part the problem of noise reduction in elements of ventilating ducts is discussed. Different types of noise dampers are characterized in the second part of the paper.
