Summary
The authors developed a non-freon vending machine, which contained a refrigeration system using a carbon dioxide refrigerant, and used a natural refrigerant as insulation material. For further energy-saving promotion, they developed technology to apply a heat pump which performed cooling and heating at the same time to a vending machine.
