Summary

In this work, the authors present the laminar mixed convection air-cooling of two identical heat sources, simulating electronic components, mounted in an inclined channel. The finite volume method and the SIMPLER algorithm were used to solve the conservation equations of mass, momentum, and energy. The results obtained show that the Reynolds number, the inclination angle of the channel, the dimensions of the heat sources, and the spacing between them have considerable effects on the improvement of the heat transfer inside the channel. Correlations of average Nusselt numbers of two electronic components were obtained and discussed. The results were compared with previous work found in the literature.
