Summary

STUDY OF TWO MATHEMATICAL MODELS OF RADIATION HEAT EXCHANGE. NUMERICAL STUDY WITH BOTH MODELS OF A NECK, WITHOUT INTERNAL SCREENS, AND SECTIONS OF NECK WITH SCREENS AT 78 AND 42 K. FROM TEST DATA, THE RADIATION CHARACTERISTICS OF THE UNINSULATED WALLS OF THE NECK DEPEND LINEARLY ON TEMPERATURE. THE RESULTS MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO CALCULATE THE UNEVEN RADIATION OF ISOTHERMAL SURFACES, TO GIVE AN ESTIMATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF NECK BLACKENING AND OF THE SCREEN SYSTEM. COMPARISON WITH KNOWN TEST AND CALCULATED VALUES. POSSIBLE USE OF THE SUGGESTED PROCEDURES FOR THE ANALYSIS OF RADIATION HEAT EXCHANGE IN THE CLOSED CYLINDRICAL CAVITIES OF CRYOSTATS AND IN THE CALCULATION OF A COMPLEX HEAT EXCHANGE.
