Summary
THIS CRYOSTAT SHOULD BE DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE HEAT TRANSFER TO THE COOLED WINDING IS MINIMISED. THE EFFECT OF THE CRYOSTAT PARAMETERS ON THE TOTAL HEAT TRANSFER TO THIS WINDING WAS THEREFORE STUDIED. AN ANNEX DESCRIBES THE CALCULATION PROCEDURE WITH A COMPUTER. R.R.
