OFF-PEAK DESICCANT COOLING AND COGENERATION COMBINE TO MAXIMIZE GAS UTILIZATION.

Author(s) : MECKLER M.

Summary

DESICCANT COOLING CONTINUOUSLY REGENERATED FROM DEDICATED WASTE HEAT ALLOWS COST-EFFECTIVE DECOUPLING OF SENSIBLE AND LATENT LOAD AT COOLING COILS. THIS PROVIDES HIGHER CHILLED WATER TEMPERATURES FOR COMFORT CONTROL AND ALSO RESULTS IN LOWER ENERGY USE WHEN INTEGRATED WITH PACKAGED COGENERATION AIR PRECONDITIONING AND EVAPORATIVE CHILLING HVAC COMPONENTS.
