Summary
For the liquid air conditioning, the liquid desiccant absorbent can be regenerated by low-grade heat source such as solar energy, terrestrial heat, engine afterheat and industrial afterheat. Liquid desiccant air conditioning system has an apparent advantage in energy storage. The capacity of energy storage is much higher than the common methods. This system can store concentrated solution by making use of solar energy as regenerated heat source in the day, in order to be used as refrigerant in the night. It can avoid the heat loss of the conventional air conditioning which caused by treating temperature and humidity together. So this system has a remarkable ability in energy-saving, and it is a kind of environmental-friendly refrigerating function. This article will research the character of liquid desiccant air conditioning of energy saving in the aspects of energy storage, air treating and so on according theory and experiment.
