Summary

THE EXPLOITATION OFF THE NORWAY COAST, OF MANY SMALL-SIZED OIL FIELDS WITH A HIGH CONTENT OF GAS, ENTAILS NUMEROUS PROBLEMS. A TYPICAL FIELD LIES AT 300 M DEPTH AND CONTAINS 20 MILLION M3 OF OIL AND 25 BILLION NM3 GAS. THE CONCEPT OF PRODUCTION USED COMPRISES SUBMARINE PLANT AND A PRODUCTION SHIP OF A CAPACITY OF 70,000 BBL/DAY OIL AND 3,700 M3/DAY LNG. THE FLOATING UNIT INCLUDES THE PRODUCTION UNIT, THE STORAGE AND UNLOADING SYSTEMS.
