Oil, for lubrication only!
Olie, alleen voor het smeren!

Summary
Compressors used in refrigerating plants are normally lubricated by oil, apart from some rare applications. A drawback is that some oil, in vapour and liquid state, will be swept along by the compressed gas into the plant. This oil will cause heat exchanger fouling, having a negative effect on plant efficiency and function. In a two-part article, some suggestions are made how simple revisions in plant and/or component execution, will reduce the oil concentration significantly, increasing the plant efficiency and function.
