Summary
THE CELL MODEL OF LENNARD-JONES AND DEVONSHIRE AND THE PERTURBATION THEORY OF WEEKS-CHANDLER AND ANDERSEN HAVE BEEN COMBINED FOR CALCULATING THE MELTING LINE OF ARGON. THE RESULTS FROM THE CALCULATED EQUATION OF STATE HAVE BEEN COMPARED WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL ONES AND THE AGREEMENT IS FOUND TO BE EXCELLENT.
