Summary

BASED ON COMPLEX THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF HERMETIC RECIPROCATING-PISTON REFRIGERATING COMPRESSORS, A METHOD WAS DEVISED TO OPTIMISE TOLERANCES AND FITS FOR THE COMPRESSOR COMPONENTS. THE METHOD IS BASED ON THE CORRELATION OF THE ACCURACY IN THE MANUFACTURE OF COMPONENTS AND THE VARIATIONS IN REFRIGERATING CAPACITY OF THE SAME TYPES OF COMPRESSORS. THE CRITERION FOR OPTIMIZATION IS THE REDUCTION IN THE TOTAL PRODUCTION COST AND THE FULL USE OF THE COMPRESSOR OVER ITS ENTIRE SERVICE LIFE. THE OPTIMIZATION TASK IS SOLVED ON THE BASIS OF THE PROCESS COST ANALYSIS INTO THE MACHINING OF COMPONENTS ACCORDING TO A SPECIALLY DEVELOPED COMPUTER PROGRAM.
