THE AUTHORS PRESENT A CALCULATION MODEL OF PULSATIONS IN THE SUCTION AND DISCHARGE PLENUM OF A PISTON COMPRESSOR AND IN SUCTION AND DISCHARGE PIPES. INSIDE PIPES, LAX-WENDROFF TWO-STEP METHOD IS USED. THE WHOLE SYSTEM SIMULATION AND THE OPTIMISATION OF SUCTION AND DISCHARGE CHAMBERS WITH THIS CALCULATION MODEL ARE PRESENTED.
