Summary

THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCES OF THE RESISTANCE (AT DIRECT CURRENT AND 10 GIGAHERTZ), MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY, THERMOPOWER AND RESISTANCE ANISOTROPY OF A NEW ORGANIC SUPERCONDUCTOR (BEDT-TTF)2 CU(NCS)2 ARE MEASURED. IT IS SHOWN THAT AT T = 45 K IT UNDERGOES AN ANOMALOUS PHASE TRANSITION FROM THE PARAMAGNETIC MOTT-HUBBARD DIELECTRIC STATE AT HIGH TEMPERATURES TO A METALLIC STATE.
