Summary

Among Argentinian peach production areas the province of Buenos-Aires (8,973 ha) is ranked second after Mendoza (15,184 ha). However, as 100% of its production is assigned to direct consumption, it leads the country in this field, compared to the province of Mendoza cultivating peach varieties appropriate for direct consumption over 6,142 ha. The authors describe this production.
