Summary
The behaviour of low-temperature ferro-and antiferromagnets of the "easy" plane type with spin moment = 1 in the magnetic field directed to the principle axis of crystal at a small angle is considered. The behaviour of a ferromagnet is shown to depend on the field direction. In the case of an antiferromagnet, at comparatively large angles, anomalies of magnetization may occur due to the finite value of the spin moment.
