Summary

Analysis of a combination of an air desiccant system combined with an absorption system to develop a triple-effect system. The advantage of the combination is to use off-the-shelf components. Four cases were analyzed to determine the optimum operating conditions of the desiccant/absorption system. The model predicted that the most efficient use of the system would result using outdoor air as the process air and return air for the regeneration.
