Summary
This study is on the performance characteristics with riser height of separator in bubble pump. For the experimental facilities composed of electrical heater used for providing heat source to generate bubble, a vertical tube with diameter of Ø4 mm, length of 300 mm, Storage tank with capacity of 40 liter and heat exchanger. The separator and condenser of the air bubble pump were installed separately. The results obtained from this experiment are following. The highest flow rate reached when the riser was in the highest position (h= 10 mm), and it was increased by almost 0.4 g/s for every 10 ? increment of height of the water level in the riser. High pressure is generated in the condenser and separator as 68 kPa, 59 kPa as water level in the riser at 10 mm. In this condition, the mass flow rate was 1.8 g/s.
