Summary
In air-conditioning fields, the efficient air-conditioning system and amenity in the room are demanded at the same time. But it is difficult to realize this, if the conventional air conditioning system is used. Therefore, this paper newly suggests the compression type refrigerator with the four-partition desiccant wheel. The performance of this system is analysed by the simulation. For this simulation, the model of the four partition desiccant wheel whose validity has already been confirmed is used. As a result, we found that the four-partition desiccant wheel can be driven by the heat about 40°C, which is almost equal to the exhaust heat temperature of the compression type refrigerator, and the compression type refrigerator with the four-partition desiccant wheel improves COP about 65% higher than the conventional compression type refrigerator. This implies the compression type refrigerator with the four-partition desiccant wheel is an effective system for the next generation air-conditioning system.
