Performance monitoring of centrifugal chillers.
Author(s) : BANSAL P. K., JAGER C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
A monitoring system is described which has been set up examine the performance of centrifugal chillers at the School of Medecine under varying load conditions. Empirical correlations are developed between power factor and current chilled water flow rate and pressure drop in the evaporator, and the COP and the load, which can be used in future design and performance analyses.
