Performance of an industrial refrigeration system using R407A in a flooded evaporator.

Summary
The system used an economized cycle with a screw compressor and flooded-bundle refrigerant evaporator. The operating conditions were typically -30 deg C evaporating temperature and up to 35 deg C condensing temperature. The performance of the system evaporator was evaluated by measurement of the heat duty and system temperatures.
