Performance of zeolite-water modular adsorption air conditioner.

Author(s) : MAIYA M. P., ARASAPPAN K.

Summary

A zeolite-water modular adsorption air conditioner is modelled and analyzed with exhaust gas as the heat source. The simulation results reveal that the temperature and humidity of the supply air decrease with increase in number of rows of the modules but at the expense of specific cooling power. There exists an optimum sorption efficiency, which also found to increase with the number of rows.
