Summary
An air-conditioning system consumes 40% of the total energy in the Telecommunication Base Station (TBS), and it is very important to reduce the energy consumption of the air-conditioning system for improving the COP of the total TBS. The article concludes that the heat insulation level of the envelope should be determined according to the geographical position and heat producing strength of TBS, shading and roof ventilation has little impact on the energy efficient improving the air-conditioning system and heat pipe heat exchangers can greatly reduce the energy consumption of the air-conditioning system.
