Summary

THE BOUNDARY CONDITIONS AT THE INTERFACE BETWEEN A SUPERFLUID LIQUID AND SOLID ARE DERIVED PHENOMENOLOGICALLY. THE BOUNDARY CONDITIONS OBTAINED EXTEND, IN PARTICULAR, THE KAPITZA RESISTANCE TO THE CASE OF VISCOUS STRESSES BEING PRESENT IN THE LIQUID AND SOLID. THEY CAN BE USED TO DESCRIBE THE MELTING OF HELIUM 4.
