Summary
Along with the trend toward making buildings higher and larger, construction methods have been diversified and prefabricated piping, riser unit work methods, and unit work methods have been employed because of convenience for site schedules and construction control. The paper describes the industrialization of piping manufacturing for air conditioning with actual examples, labor-saving trends on work sites, and the examples of industrialization of the shipbuilding industry, and discusses computer-assisted design and manufacture for piping.
