Summary

WITH PLASTICS, IT IS POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN A CONSIDERABLE WEIGHT REDUCTION IN THE FINAL APPARATUS. THE INVESTIGATIONS SHOWED THAT PLASTICS CAN BE USED IN CONSTRUCTIONS WHICH REQUIRE A HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY. EXPERIMENTS WERE CARRIED OUT ON POLYAMIDE MODIFICATIONS WITH COAL POWDER FILLERS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY. OPTIMIZATION OF A RATIO OF POLYAMIDE FILLERS HAD TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE POSSIBILITY OF POLYMER PROCESSING. A BASIC HEAT EXCHANGER WITH PIPES EXTRUDED OF POLYAMIDE 6 WAS DESIGNED. THE SECTION COLLECTORS WERE MOULDED BY INJECTING GLASS-REINFORCED POLYAMIDE.
