THE BOILING HEAT TRANSFER FROM A SINGLE HORIZONTAL CYLINDER TO LITHIUM BROMIDE WATER SOLUTION UNDER VACUUM WAS INVESTIGATED AS ALSO THE EFFECTS OF LIQUID LEVEL ON BOILING HEAT TRANSFER. IT WAS FOUND THAT, AT THE LOW WATER SOLUTION LEVEL, THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS ARE LARGER THAN THOSE AT THE HIGH WATER SOLUTION LEVEL, ESPECIALLY UNDER 50 MM WATER SOLUTION LEVEL OR LESS.
