Summary
The goal of this study was to improve the thermal performance of high-temperature generators of absorption chiller-heaters. The heat transfer coefficient of lithium bromide aqueous solution is about half of that of water under the same experimental conditions of inlet velocity and heat flux. The experimental data compare favourably with literature correlations.
