Potential of cold-air technology for air conditioning of passenger coaches.
[In German. / En allemand.]
Author(s) : HENATSCH A., MORGENSTERN J.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
Because it does not use artificial refrigerants, the cold-air refrigerating machine is a valuable alternative for the air conditioning of passenger coaches. Other advantages are robustness, reduced space requirements and bulk; disadvantages include the inherent lower energy effectiveness compared with the conventional vapour refrigerating machine.
