INVESTIGATIONS WERE MADE INTO THE WATER-ZEOLITE 5A TWO-SOLID SYSTEM WHICH DOES EXTEND THE APPLICATIONAL FIELD OF ALL KNOWN ADSORBENT COMBINATIONS. THE CONTRIBUTION COMBINES THE RESULTS OF BASIC RESEARCH AND PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS, EG AS A HEAT AND COLD STORE, HEAT PUMP AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM. IT IS PROVED THAT THE USE OF ZEOLITES IN SOLAR-POWERED REFRIGERATING PLANTS IS MUCH PROMISING.
