Summary
In Fujisawa Site of IBM Japan, the contracted power was reduced by 800 kilowatts by applying power demand prediction system using neural network to the annual maximum power prediction in 1992. The annual maximum power in 1992 was controlled below the contracted power by applying this system to the optimal operation of turbo refrigerators in the heat storage air conditioning systems. The high prediction was also achieved because the average prediction error of this system was approximately 3.8%.
