Summary

In practice big tumours can not be destroyed easily. Using powerful cryogenic engineering is not always successful; there is a group of patients, which have a potential growth of a deep part of a pathological formation after cryodestruction. The method presented consists in increasing cryogenic destruction by a preliminary action of superhigh frequency waves of electromagnetic field (SHFW EMF) on a local freezing region; it has been elaborated by Russian physicians together with engineers. 1200 children were treated using this method. The retrospective analysis of the data allowed formulation of future indications of a SHFW cryotherapy method: a fast growing deep haemangiomas when their anatomical localization is complicated, and when preliminary treatment using other methods was unsuccessful. The application of this method does not depend on the age of a child.
