Summary

PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF THE LEGGETT-TAKAGI EQUATIONS FOR THE SUPERFLUID BETA-PHASE OF HELIUM 3 IN THE COLLISIONLESS REGION ARE OBTAINED, AND THEIR STABILITY IS INVESTIGATED. IN CONTRAST TO HYDRODYNAMICS, A LARGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE QUASIPARTICLE SPIN AND THE CONDENSATE SPIN LEADS TO THE APPEARANCE OF A NEW STABLE MODE.
