THE PRECOOLING OF AIR ENTERING THE CONDENSER OF AIR CONDITIONING UNITS REDUCES ENERGY CONSUMPTION, THE OPERATING TIME OF THE AIR CONDITIONER AND THUS MAINTENANCE COSTS. THE PROPOSED PRECOOLER USES WATER EVAPORATION ON FLUTED CELLULOSE SHEETS AND REQUIRES ONLY A SMALL CIRCULATION PUMP.
