Summary
States that giving spaces negative pressure and positive pressure is an important method of preventing cross-contamination in hospitals. Open doors are a major problem in controlling air flows. Describes a system which is effective with both closed and open doors, using advanced control systems with variable air flows, and also relatively simple "passive" systems with constant air flows. Discusses both methods, paying attention to the function of the air lock.
